Road Sand

This is for the California crowd. In Upstate NY, we need to spread sand on the roads. Larger roads get plowed, and then have salt spread on them to melt the snow and ice. Smaller roads get plowed, then have sand spread on them for better traction. So, by our town’s Highway Department building stands this large pile of sand.
